From 15-22th August Young FoEE are running a week long training camp for 60 young people from Europe, on the beautiful Sholta Island in Croatia.
We'll spend a week together to do training, networking, future campaigns & action planning for the Young FoEE network, as well as learn about a huge range of issues with workshops on environmental and social justice.
We will be 60 young people from all corners of Europe, and to make this an even more diverse and amazing event, we want you to join us! We are especially looking for young people from the Friends of the Earth network and from South East Europe.
Young FoEE is a grassroots network of young people and youth organisations working together on social and environmental justice issues. We work collectively on a local, national and European level, to inspire other young people, organise great actions and events and get lots of attention in the media, in politics and amongst the general public on what we think as young people in Europe.
If you want to get involved in Young FoEE, or a Young FoE or FoE group in your country, and want the skills, knowledge and experience to help you get involved, then the Young FoEE Summer Training Camp is the place for you!
The accommodation and food costs will be covered by us. We can't cover all of everyone's travel costs to Croatia, but would encourage you to ask your organisation to help cover your travel costs or to find cheap, free and environmentally friendly ways to travel like cycling or hitch-hiking!
If the travel costs are a problem and you would prevent you from applying or coming, please still get in touch and apply, as we will find ways to support you.
